For 20 years, the Holiday Hamper Program has been brightening holidays for Edmonton families. This anniversary year, we aim to reach 2,000 families in need. Becoming a Holiday Hamper Elf is as Easy as 3 Simple Steps:
Click on the link below and choose your family size based on how much you are able to contribute. A small family costs about $90 in groceries, while an extra-large family can be over $250. Our grocery list can help you decide the size of family you will make a difference for this holiday season.
2. Go Shopping
In the first week of December, you'll receive an email confirming the size and makeup of your assigned family. Please note that we cannot provide specific information such as names or sizes of clothing. Prior to Delivery Day, you will purchase groceries for your family's hamper based on our grocery list.
3. Delivery Day, December 21, 2024
On the Saturday before Christmas, come to the Expo Centre for our drive-thru experience! Here you will receive the turkey, roasting pan, fresh produce, and address(es) for your adopted families. Once these items have been loaded into your car by our Holiday Hamper volunteers, you will be on your way to deliver holiday joy!
